As a Project Manager at OTEC, Tourism SkillsNet North (TSNN), Juan is responsible for TSNN’s strategic project design including the Steering Committee and Sub-Committee meetings.
Juan has extensive experience in hotel management, hospitality, sales & marketing, customer service, budgeting & forecasting, market penetrations, leading site inspections, visiting trade shows, representing the brand, and achieving business goals in highly competitive markets. Juan has worked at hospitality brands such as Marriott International Corporate Office, where he was a Learning and Development Manager, at Novotel Mississauga Toronto Centre, where he was a Corporate Sales Manager, at the Ritz–Carlton in Aruba where he was a Senior Sales Manager, and at the Dubai Marine Beach Resort as a Sales Manager.
Juan holds a Bachelor’s in Strategy Management and Marketing from the Escuela de Turismo de Baleares in Spain. He also has a Bachelor’s in International Tourism Management and Consultancy from NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, in Holland.
