Kathering is responsible for expanding the work of the Newcomer GPS project across Ontario including attending conferences, general administrative support, technical administration, and outreach and engagement managing project flow map strategies.
Kathering comes to OTEC from The Learning Enrichment Foundation as an Online ClientEngagement Worker & Content Curator, where she managed the online newcomer portal-intakes, service delivery, client information/communication, referral system & internal database, assisted with funding proposals and created training sessions for clients. Kathering has experience in community services program/project planning, coordination, implementation,
and monitoring & evaluation.
Kathering holds a Social Service Worker – Immigrant and Refugee Diploma from Seneca College. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration – Management from York University.
