Melwyn Dcosta

As Senior Project Manager, Workforce Strategy Projects, Melwyn manages research and development initiatives around the future of work. His focus is the development and testing of approaches that leverage new technologies to help Canadians maximize their career potential. This includes researching psychometric assessment models, identifying skills training for youth employment, and supporting data-centric tools for career exploration and planning.

Melwyn joined the organization as a seasoned project manager specialising in capacity building within the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He brings a passion for social innovation to his work at OTEC. Prior to OTEC, he led the design and delivery of a global social impact mentorship program at the MaRS Discovery District and previously managed employer engagement and partnerships at TRIEC’s Mentoring Partnership. In addition, he has expertise in branding including the planning and implemention of integrated marketing communication projects from his work at global branding agencies.

Melwyn holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and marketing and a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Accounting and Tax from the University of Mumbai.
