Monica Maralit-De Leon

As Project Coordinator, Monica is part of the Workforce Strategy team. She is responsible for facilitating the SkillsAdvance Ontario (SAO) project, including maintaining up-to-date CRM databases and client relations records, as well as liaising with external contractors to help OTEC establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.  Monica assists in the planning and execution of project communications, marketing, and outreach leveraging industry and stakeholder networks – cross-promoting OTEC’s full suite of projects, products, and services.

Monica’s background is in customer service-related positions within the tourism and hospitality sector. She studied Tourism Management at the University of the West of Scotland and obtained her Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Administration at Centennial College. She also pursued Business at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences. Monica is multilingual and has completed a degree in Linguistics from the University of the Philippines.
