Monique Allan

As Project Implementation Coordinator for Newcomer GPS, Monique supports stakeholders with a focus on leveraging an integrated technology solution within the settlement sector enhancing the experience for newcomers to Canada. She works on the research project with community partners across Ontario as they implement the tool with job seekers.

Prior to joining the OTEC team, Monique had applied her expertise in Client Relationship Management within the Tourism industry to strategically improve business processes and change lives. She has a passion for Customer Service and thrives35 on the front lines where she can interact directly with a broad spectrum of clients as well as her peers.

Monique recently completed a Diploma in Hospitality focusing on Hotel Operations Management from Centennial College and she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Sciences from the University of Technology, Jamaica. She was the recipient of the Monte Carlo Inns Hospitality Scholarship and the Centennial College Student Association Incorporated (CCSAI) Leadership Scholarship for the outstanding work she has done during her studentship.

An “island girl” at heart, Monique believes in spreading that warmth and using it to create experiences that drive positive change.
