Verity Dimock

As the Vice President, Business Development & Learning Services, Verity is responsible for managing fee for service and funded business development priorities. She is responsible for ensuring relationships and opportunities are maximized and customer growth in OTEC’s priority markets including tourism, hospitality, education, and other service-related sectors. She is responsible for expanding OTEC’s reach and contributing to the strategic growth of OTEC.

Verity joins OTEC from a social innovation consulting project, where she worked as a national director to help the United Church’s Stone Soup project identify new revenue streams and opportunities to scale. In her career, she has re-designed Smart Serve training and improved program access for users. Verity is a passionate social impact leader with a strong track record creating new revenue opportunities in the nonprofit space and leveraging technology solutions to increase revenues.

Verity holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Economics from the Trent University in Peterborough, and a Master of Science in Business Performance Improvement from Boise State University in the United States. She holds a Fellowship in Social Enterprise from the School for Social Entrepreneurs (Ontario) and she is certified in Teaching and Training Adults.
