As an Employment & Training Liaison, Yingtong is responsible for making meaningful, sustainable matches that meet the needs of both the employer and client within the province-wide Skills Advance Ontario (SAO) project. SAO is aimed to provide short-term soft and technical sector-specific skills development and training to assist job seekers in obtaining employment in the sector, as well as supporting incumbent workers in job maintenance/advancement.

Yingtong has seven years of experience providing employment services to clients with diverse background in the non-profit sector, with a consistent record of assisting clients in attaining their employment goals. She also brings solid skills in facilitating the whole process of career development, from the initial intake assessment through to post-employment retention.

Yingtong has a B.A. degree in English Literature from Xi’an International Studies University, China; a post graduate diploma in Career and Work Counsellor from George Brown College. She is also a certified in Level B Assessments, Career and Employment Information and Crisis Intervention.
