OTEC Call for Board Nominations

The OTEC Board of Directors – Nominations Committee is currently seeking candidates to join a dynamic and highly qualified competency-based Board of Directors. Successful candidates will collaborate with a group of highly engaged professionals guiding an entrepreneurial organization that is at the forefront of the future of work in Canada. 

If you are excited about contributing to the strategic direction, future growth and success of our organization and have experience, as a leader, in strategic planning, governance and participating on effective Boards, connect with us. Specific competencies required include areas of expertise in one or more of the following:

  • Finance/Accounting/Risk Management
  • Technology: E-Learning; H.R. Technology; E-Commerce
  • Not for Profit Management/Regulations
  • Workforce Development & Innovation
  • Sectoral Expertise (Hospitality, Tourism, Food Services)
  • Indigenous Community Development
  • Service Sector Training & Development
  • Business Development/Acumen
  • Entrepreneur/Start Ups

New to Boards:
Candidates who meet some of the qualifications above, but do not have relevant Board experience and are looking for a professional development opportunity may be considered.
