As OTEC’s Client Relationship Manager, Employment Solutions, Pinar is responsible for managing OTEC’s workforce development projects and supporting clients with their training and skills development needs.
Pinar previously coordinated the Ontario delivery of the hospitality-focused Destination Employment project, in partnership with Tourism HR Canada and a network of provincial and territorial organizations, as well as project managing the Tourism SkillsNet Ontario: Training Solutions for Resiliency and Retention project, funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (Skills Development Fund). The provincial administration of Emerit Skills Training and Certification is also managed by her.
Prior to her tenure at OTEC, Pinar has additional experience in the hospitality industry and international work experience in Communications & Advertising.
Pinar holds a Master’s Degree in Public Relations from Marmara University in Turkey and has certifications in Publicity & Public Relations from the University of Toronto.
