Sakina is an enthusiastic psychoeducational consultant and mental health counsellor. She has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of education, mental health, and vocational rehabilitation. She is skilled at developing and implementing guidance curricula for schools.
Sakina delivers in-person and online workshops and coaching sessions on self-development and mental health. Additionally, she offers positive counselling based on mindfulness to promote her clients’ academic, social, and emotional wellbeing.
Sakina has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in human development and family relations and is a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP). She also has a bachelor’s in education with a focus on counselling. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals and the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada. She is studying to become a member of the Ontario College of Psychotherapy. She is a registered Cogmed coach30 (evidence-based working memory training) and a certified Personality Dimensions Facilitator.
