Adam Morrison to Depart as President and CEO of OTEC After 15 Years of Service

Toronto, ON, July 3, 2024 — The Ontario Tourism Education Corporation (OTEC) announces the departure of Adam Morrison, President and CEO, after 5 years in the role and more than 15 years of dedicated service to the organization. Under Adam’s leadership, OTEC has made substantial contributions to the tourism sector across Ontario and Canada.

Reflecting on his tenure, Adam Morrison shared, “I am immensely grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such an amazing team and network of partners. The industry is more aligned than at any point I can remember and that makes me very proud.”

Rebecca Godfrey, Chair of the Board of Directors, expressed her gratitude for Adam’s leadership and contributions: “We extend our thanks to Adam; his efforts have significantly advanced OTEC’s mission and strengthened the tourism industry. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”

Dina Jeffery and Elayne Furoy will serve as interim co-leads at OTEC with the support of the Board of Directors. OTEC’s commitment to providing quality skills training remains our core business priority and will continue unabated for a wide variety of industries, business and destinations.
