Ahnie brings to OTEC over 20 years of experience in various positions, including Frontline Customer Service, HR Management and as a Master Trainer, developing and delivering impactful training to thousands of staff, increasing skills and knowledge across numerous subjects in the human services field. Ahnie most recently held the job of Manager, Training and Education in municipal government where she influenced the direction of future adult learning and education.
Ahnie’s thirst for knowledge has led her passion for lifelong learning. She is committed to ensuring every participant feels engaged, pivoting to provide a customized workshop experience in each session.
Ahnie completed her BA in Social Work at Ryerson University. She has a Master Trainer Certification from Langevin Learning Services, is a certified Personality Dimensions Facilitator and has Certificates in numerous Leadership and Development programs from the York University Schulich Executive Learning Centre.
She most recently completed her Personal & Business Coaching Certification from Canada Coach Academy allowing her to initiate her application for her International Coaching Federation (ICF) designation.
