Karen is committed to developing and supporting people and organizations. She is an inspiring and engaging Training and Facilitation specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in a large municipal government setting where she was responsible for the development, design, delivery and evaluation of training programs for all levels of staff.
Motivating and enthusiastic, Karen has developed and led programs in the areas of Customer Service, Conflict Resolution, Workplace Sensitivity and Civility, Excelling through Change, Communication Skills, Workforce Development, and Health and Safety. Karen is experienced in understanding individual training needs and applying Adult Learning Principles.
Karen has an educational background in social work as an SSW, Advanced Instructional Design and Trainer Certification with Langevin Learning Services and studies in Adult Education with Seneca College. She is Meyers-Briggs qualified and also a certified Life Skills Coach.
